Hvar House

Hvar is an island off the coast of Dalmatia (near Split). The house is located in the center of the Venetian city of Hvar. The traditional double-sided facade facing the narrow street contrasts sharply with the living room. This leads to the garden, and the large sliding door can be pushed completely back into the wall. The living room is limited by the garden and high stone garden wall. The two houses will be connected during the renovation. The wide staircase on the upper floor shows this connection and ends with a built-in seating group. The conservative choice of materials for floors and walls is limited to stone on the island. Part of the wall was plastered with stone powder.
